Practically all furnishing styles also "work" in combination with solid logs. The inner rooms of a log home are highly variable, both in layout and design. This means that all furniture styles fit in a log home.

Colours and patterns
Darker, simple colors harmonize best with Finnish pine: so-called "honest colors" such as blue, black, brown, red or forest green, but also clean, pure white or ivory, which can create a really charming contrast with the wood. As far as fabric patterns are concerned, here less is more, i.e. it is better to avoid dainty flowery patterns, or too many colors in upholstery fabrics.

Furniture
Wood is of course ideal furniture, either left in its natural state or painted in simple colors. Stainless steel or other metals such as aluminum and chromium create a charming, cool contrast with the warmth of the wood.

Upholstery fabrics
Leather, in particular, is an ideal upholstery fabric for the log home ambience. Linen fabrics also work very well together with wood as both materials have a very natural look.
